Project 23 – Advanced Technologies Integrated into Green Energy Chains for a New Cycle of Sustainable Development
Objectives
Strengthen the internationalization and the integration of scientific and technological competences addressing the energy transition and industrial decarbonization strategies, promoting multidisciplinary research and international cooperation in the fields of Carbon Capture, Use and Storage (CCUS), Functional biomaterials, Energy Transition (H₂), Industrial Decarbonization and other low carbon processes.
The project also aims at creating a structured environment for innovation, human resource training, technological development and knowledge transfer, widening UFC international insertion and the capacity to generate applicable solutions to the transition to a low-carbon economy.
The activities will be developed in an integrated way with UFC graduate programs and research groups, including PGEQ/UFC, Academic PPAC/UFC, Professional PPAC l/UFC and PPG Geology/UFC, articulating different competences and scientific approaches.
