Project 15 – International Research Network on Nanostructures, Nanoscale Phenomena, and New Materials for Optoelectronics

Objectives

Create and consolidate a network involving theoretical and experimental research groups aiming to deepen the knowledge about (i) the polymorphism of drugs and of nanoscale phenomena involved in tissue necrosis biological processes through experimental measures of X-ray diffraction and Raman and infrared spectroscopies; (ii) the effects of high pressure on crystalline phases; and (iii) the optical and transportation properties of new materials. By integrating the graduate programs at current different levels of CAPES assessment, the network also aims at solving inequalities between the graduate programs, fostering joint publications in high-impact journals and qualifying high-level human resources in the Project’s field of research.
